My mom, dad, and Jake were able to come up and visit for a night. It was so nice to have them here just hanging out. Brock LOVED having them around. We have been just hanging out at the house and Krew has been smiling and talking a lot. He is in his crib, but not sleeping very well. I guess I can't have it all. He is a really good baby and I love sleeping with my boys. Actually Sid likes sleeping with them too. It is so fun having them and just hanging out!! Brock thinks it is so fun to lay with Krew in his bed. The last time we did it, Krew actually fell asleep. It was so cute!! Brock was putting his "baby" to sleep... I guess a boy's baby is a transformer. It was too funny!! Brock got his hair cut and didn't cry. I know crazy right?? He usually screams and cries the whole time. It was awesome. We went to Sams Club to get me some contacts and Brock was trying on glasses. Is it just me or does he look so cute in glasses??

Krew has been smiling since he was about 3 weeks old. He smiles all the time at Brock and smiles the most in the morning. He is such a happy baby!! I love the first picture. He looks like such a chunk. And... those lips... GORGEOUS!! The picture of Brock and Lincoln was when we went to Jett's basketball game. They sat and watched jett. They were so cute!!

Denver

The guys hit up Spencer Larsen to see if he could get them tickets to the play-off game, and he did. So they headed to Denver and hung out with Spencer, ate some food, and loved being at the game. It went into overtime and the Broncos ended up winning!! They had so much fun!! Can't wait until I actually get to go to a game. Hopefully that will happen sometime...

We got a little snow storm and Brock wanted to go play in it so bad. So he did. He loves the snow. I think he just loves eating it!! Still catching up on pictures. We were all decked out for the Broncos game. The boys were there and we were cheering from home!!

New Years Eve!!

The Ballard's brought us dinner and we hung out and Taya ended up staying the night. Brock was so happy. He wanted to sleep by her. I love that Brock is so close to his cousins!!! We went up to Ashley's for New Years Eve and played games and ate lots of yummy food. There was shrimp dip, cheese balls, apple dip, shrimp, chips, pizza, candy, and so much more. We all gained 5 pounds that night!! It was a lot of fun. 2011 was a great year. We went to Hawaii, added Krew to the family, and had a lot of great memories. I can't believe it is over!! Goodbye 2011... Hello 2012

Camille came over and took some newborn pictures of Krew. We got some really cute ones!! Brock wasn't into taking pictures, but for some reason the cutest ones are with him in them!!! First Bath!

Krew's umbilical cord fell off at like day 9. It came off way faster than Brock's!! Thanks goodness. I hate it. I finally got him in the real bath once everything was healed. He liked it. I think Brock liked it more though!!

Christmas!!

We woke up Christmas morning and went downstairs to see that Santa brought Brock an awesome train table and an easel. Brock was so excited and loved the train table. We then opened presents. It was a lot of fun to have Christmas at home and was even better that Grandma and Grandpa were there!! Brock loved the blanket that Grandma Bev gave him and he loves the baseball toy Colton gave to him. I have to say he got really spoiled this year by everyone. Brock tries to play with Krew and puts his toys on him. He took all the fish out of his game and put them on him. It was pretty funny!! Can't wait until they can play together!!

Christmas Eve

We made some reindeer food with oatmeal, sugar, and sprinkles. Brock and Grandma threw it all along the driveway and up to the door to make sure the reindeer stopped at our house. Brock wanted to keep doing it and thought it was so cool. We then frosted some cookies for Santa, and got Christmas pajamas on. This was the first year Brock knew what was going on and it was so much fun!! Grandpa came up and we are glad to have both of them here for Christmas. I hate that the reason they came up was because Sid totalled my mom's car, but I am glad they are here!!!

We took Brock to the mall to see Santa. He wasn't the greatest Santa, but Brock didn't care. We then drove around and looked at Christmas lights. We then stopped by the Nativity scene and Brock loved it. He thought it was so cool and was kissing baby Jesus and got on the camel. It was a lot of fun. We topped the night off with Mcdonald's and pictures!!

Cousin exchange

We went over to Ashley's to do the cousin present exchange. Brock had a blast being over there. It was crazy to be out of the house!! I didn't leave the house with Brock for like 3 months and I was out with Krew a week later!! When Ashley came to the hospital she swore that Berlyn's feet were the same size as Krew's. I didn't think there was any way. We measured... and sure enough. They are the same length, but Berlyn's are way fatter!! How funny!!

Moose and Santa!!

I was really nervous at how Brock was going to react to Krew. I knew he loved babies and would always play with them, but I didn't know how he would be with one that never leaves. Brock has been awesome. He always wants to hold him and play with him and give him kisses and just lay by him. He is such a good big brother!!

We are so happy to be home with Krew!!! We are just loving it. Brock just wants to be around and hold him. It is the cutest thing ever. We feel so blessed. We are all healthy and happy. We had to go check Krew's bilirubin. Hopefully he doesn't have to go under lights!!

I could not decide if I wanted to get started or not. I went back and forth because I didn't really want to, but I wanted my doctor to deliver me and he was going out of town. After talking about it, I decided I would get started. We got to the hospital about 7:30am on Decmeber 15th. I got started at 8:30am. From then to about 2:30pm, I only dialated 1 centimeter!! I was starting to think getting started was NOT a good idea. They decided to put an internal monitor in me to decide how much pitocin they could give me. From 2:30pm to 5:00pm I went from a 3-4 to a 10 plus. Krew was born at 5:08pm. He was 8lbs 5 oz and 20 inches long. We feel so blessed to welcome him into the family. We decided his middle name to be John after my dad because he was born on his birthday. What a great day!!! Thanks to everyone who helped with Brock and came to visit us at the hospital!!

Gingerbread Houses part 2

Sid (and Brock) did and awesome job painting Krew's room. Before and after pictures of my wall. I love the stripped wall. Thank you so much for doing it!! Brock was into painting and laying in the crib. It was a lot of fun and I think it got Brock excited about his baby brother!! I haven't done anything else to the room, but I will eventually. We got this recliner because Krew is going straight into his crib. It takes up the whole room, but oh well... I am going to love it at 3 in the morning!!!

Brock is obsessed with Transformers right now and wanted me to take a picture of him with Bumblebee. So I did. Since I have a tree downstairs and upstairs, I am doing the one downstairs with sentimental ornaments. Ones from Grandma Rose, from mom, from us, from places we have been, etc. I decided that I was going to "make" or "paint" an ornament every year with my kids. Brock was really good at it and loved doing it!!

I found this super cute picture on pinterest so I wanted to copy it. I have to say they DID NOT turn out as cute as the one I saw. Oh well though... Brock was not easy to work with. He was pulling faces and running around and not wanting to hold the sign, so I just couldn't get rid of these pictures. They were making Sid and I laugh. 38 weeks!!! Yea baby!!

On Sunday we made a gingerbread house. It turned out awesome. I'm not sure if Brock had more fun eating the candy and running around or putting the candy on the house. It was a lot of fun. Brock wants to do it again!!

This Thanksgiving was our first official Thanksgiving just as a family. We have had 6 Thanksgivings as a married couple and have been with family every year. This year we decided to stay home since I am 36 weeks. I was actually excited to do my own dinner and EVERYTHING turned out better than I could hope. Sid was pretty impressed with my cooking skills since I don't ever show I have any. We had a quiet day at home, watching football, and eating. It was an awesome Thanksgiving. I am so grateful for my family. Sid and Brock are my life. Sid is definitely my other half. Brock lights up my life. He makes me smile and I just love when he tells me "love you so much!" I love that I can call my mom for no reason at all and just talk. I am so grateful to be pregnant. It is a blessing to be able to be and I love feeling the baby move. It is the weirdest, but best feeling ever. On the other hand, I am grateful I only have 3 1/2 weeks left. I am grateful for the gospel and everything it brings into my life. I love my calling and the girls I get to work with. I am truly grateful for everything that I have. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Snow!!

So we totally got dumped on this past weekend with tons of snow. So Saturday Sid went out to shovel the driveway. Brock started to go out in pajamas so I thought I better get him dressed. He "helped" Sid with the driveway and then they played in the snow. Brock was loving it. His favorite thing was definitely eating it. He even brought a bowl inside and ate the whole thing. I am not so sure if I am ready for snow. It at least needs to melt so Sid can fix the Christmas lights!!

Ashley and Justin blessed Berlyn a couple Sundays ago and when we showed up, Brock and Lincoln were dressed the same. Grandma Julie gave them these outfits and we both happened to put it on them. Of course they would NOT take a good picture so this is what we got. Brock loves these little skeleton guys and wanted pictures with them. Don't know why but whatever!!

Disney on Ice!!

I finally thought Brock was old enough to go to Disney on Ice. Ashley and I packed up all the kids and headed to Jodi's. After getting our beds ready we went and ate and headed to the show. We probably looked ridiculous because it was us three girls with 7 kids. It was an adventure that is for sure. Brock loved it. I got him an Incredible light thing and he thought it was awesome. Half way through the show, I got him and icee. He loved that too. He better have loved it because it was $10!! Anyways... everyone had a great time besides the girl throwing up right in front of us and Mylee getting her light thing stuck in another girl's hair. Her dad had to cut it out! Brock's favorite parts were when the Incredibles came out, when the wildabeasts from the Lion King came out, and when the Crocodile ate Captain Hook. It was an awesome night!!

Stef waited to have Colton's birthday party until we came down. She rented a big bounce house with a slide for the kids and got cake and ice cream. The kids loved the jump house. It rained in the evening so they weren't able to jump on it, but they still had a blast. Colton loved being sung to and blowing out his candles. He had to do it twice. It was lots of fun!!

Whenever we are in Vegas, it seems that us girls hang out with the kids and the boys are off golfing, going to movies, or doing something else. It is nice that the kids play so well together. Brock was scared of the "silly guy" at first but by the end of the week, he was taking pictures of it. I just had to keep one of the pictures. Brock loves baby Kate. She was smiling at him and just loving him right back. I hope he likes baby Krew just as much!!

We all got dressed up to go to Plum Hollow in Anthem to go trick or treating. They hand out good candy and decorate like crazy. I guess it wasn't as good as last year, but it was still a lot of fun. The kids got tired and got lots of candy. Happy Halloween!!!

Pumpkin carving

We all got together to carve pumpkins. We did it for the kids and they were off playing with Grandpa the whole time. Brock did pick which one he wanted to do, the pirate. It was one of the hardest and it took me forever to do, but I did it and I have to say I am pretty proud. It actually turned out!!

Big Ghost

Colton is obsessed with pumpkins and ghosts. It is so funny. He has to carry them around and sleep with them. So we went to the District to see the big ghost and hang out. They had an area for kids to dance too. Brock was getting down and doing the robot and everything. We then went and rode the carousel. Colton didn't want to get on, but Brock rode it like 3 times. It was a lot of fun!!

We headed to Midway for our annual girls night out trip. We had three babies this year so we knew we wouldn't be doing too much. Julie had a couple crafts that we did, we did our nails, and hung out. I learned how to make sweet and sour chicken and it was delicious. Of course Megan, Julie, and I did some shopping. It was actually a relaxing weekend for me!!! Thanks Julie for everything!!

Potty Training

Here are a couple random pictures. I just love when Brock and Sid nap together because Brock just cuddles with him. Today is day 3 of potty training. I have been thinking about doing it for a couple months but didn't really think he was quite ready. With everything that is coming up in the next month and then the baby in two months, it was now or after the baby. I figured I would try now. He has only had two accidents. He is doing very good and it has been a lot easier than I thought. I just hope he keeps it up!!! His thing lately has been putting on Sid's deodorant. It is pretty funny. I just love this boy!!

Pumpkin Walk

I met some girls at the pumpkin walk. I love going. 1) It's free 2) Brock thinks it is really cool. 3) Nice to get out of the house 4) Fun to get together. It is just amazing the things people come up with and the time people put into it! Brock was in charge of taking pictures of the scenes for grandma. He did a pretty good job, but there are quite a few!!!

I finally had a play date. Camille and Tracie came over and we made sugar cookies and just let the kids play. It was so nice to have some girlfriends over to just talk and hang out. The cookies were a big hit. Brock had to have his clothes changed like 3 times. It was so much fun!!

When I uploaded these pictures I found these of Parx. Dave and Alisha went to get something to eat and we were all just at Ashley's and Justin thought he would try it. Parx thought it was so cool but I know Alisha and Dave probably didn't think so when I showed them the pictures!!! Hey Alisha... at least I didn't paint his nails...

Animals!!

I told Brock I would take him to Willow Park to go see some animals. I was actually surprised at the animals they had. Brock's favorite was the snake, monkeys, and the turtles. It was well worth the trip. We took pictues of the animals because Brock likes looking at my camera, so the animal pictures are for him! We went to Joanns and Brock was walking around and he saw this white fabric and was yelling "mom, mom, mom, come here, come here." So I come over and he is rubbing the fabric saying "it is just like my blankey." So he wanted it in the cart and is just sitting there with it and loving it. Then he saw the giraffe print and said the same thing. He just sat in the cart rubbing the fabrics with a big smile on his face. It was so cute!!

Since I am totally in the nesting phase of my pregnancy, Sid has had many many projects. He has been doing them all, but the biggest one has been my shelves. My garage is now organized and clean!! Yay!! Thanks Sid for doing all the jobs you have been and are doing for me!! Love you!! Taya spent the night a couple weekends ago and Brock just loves her. She plays so good with him. He just cuddles up to her and wants to be around her all the time. It is so cute. Brock just does his own thing these days. I was making some garlic bread and instead of Brock taking a piece.. he took the whole loaf. It was so funny and he wouldn't give it back. He also wanted a fruit snack and I said wait a minute, and by the time I came into the kitchen he had moved the stool, climbed on it, and was getting himself a fruit snack. He is just getting so big!!

Miniature Golf

Sid took Brock golfing one day and ever since then he says he wants to go hit the ball. Sid thought he would love to go miniature golfing, so we went. Sid said that real golfing kept his attention better than miniature, but he still had a lot of fun. He liked to hit the ball hard or he wanted to put the ball right next to the hole and hit it in. It was a fun family night!!

On our last day we just hung out with the family. Dust had a wedding and when he got home we had to snap a few pictures since he is NEVER dressed up this fancy. When Brock woke up from his nap, he walked out of the room, and next thing we know... he is laying on the ground sleeping again. I thought it was pretty funny since he never does stuff like that!!! Everyone came over, had dinner, got in the pool, played, lit some fireworks, and got baby Kate to simle a lot. It was a great day. So sad we have to get up and drive home tomorrow!!!

Day 4...

Grandpa got this crazy idea that we would go frog hunting on the golf course. I thought.. yea ok let's go. I just hope we can catch one so it isn't a total bust. We caught like 12!! The kids loved it. Brock and Riggs were catching them and having a blast running around looking for them. Good idea grandpa!! We will have to do it again. When we got home Brock was playing with Scott. He just loves playing with him. Maybe it is because Scott runs around with him and throws him onto the lovesac. What a great day!!

Day 3..

On Friday, Stef came over and we were watching Riggs. Brock loves baby Kate. I hope he is the same way with his baby brother!! They played dinosaurs and made Grandma's house a mess. Oh well, at least they had fun. We then went on a motor home ride and the kids just played in the back and we were watching a movie. When we got home Sid was in the "red neck" pool and the kids just couldn't resist. Brock got in naked and Riggs still had his swimming suit on from earlier. They were having a blast and going down the slide. Sid even went down the slide. We then got inside and it was tackle Grandpa time. They just love playing with him and following him around. He is such a great grandpa!!

Vegas... Day 1&2

We headed to Vegas to go spend some time with the family. I know... we are vacationing again. Crazy!! Anyways... we got there and Sid and Dust had a fantasy football draft, so us girls just hung out. The boys play so good together. There was a cricket and a spider in the trash can and they just thought it was the coolest thing ever. Then on Thursday, Sid and Dust went golfing, so us girls just hung out at Stef's.

Shelves..

Justin came over and helped Sid make the shleves I have wanted. Brock was helping too I guess. They turned out awesome and I can't wait to start organizing my storage room. Now that I have the shleves for food storage, I guess I better get on that!!

Megan, Nate, and Ashley came to Logan to hang out. Brock loved Nate and Megan. It was so awesome. I think he is finally warming up to people and not needing me all the time. Brock also took my camera and took some pictures of Parx. He did pretty good!!

Graysen Blessing

We headed to Salt Lake for Graysen's baby blessing. Jesse did such a good job and it was so nice to get together and see everyone. I didn't take any pictures... I know... weird right???, but Julie took this family picture. Congrats Jesse and Jodi!!

I can't believe it is time to go home!! It went by way too fast. We did a lot of shopping and went and ate at Dukes before we headed to the airport. It was an awesome trip and we can't wait until we do it again!! Thanks Terel and Julie!! It was a blast!!!

Day 7...

On our last full day in Kauai we decided to spend it at the beach. We snorkeled, played in the sand, and just relaxed. We went out onto the beach and watched the sunset. AMAZING!!! We just walked up and down the beach and it could not have been more beautiful!!! What an amazing last night in Kauai!! We then went and ate and I got a steak, but they didn't have A1 Sauce. Who doesn't have A1 Sauce. It was so annoying, but what a great trip it has been!!! One of the funniest things on the trip was watching Julie put on her snorkeling gear and getting out past the waves. Brock would say "grandma fall." She was such a good sport about it and Terel's reaction made it even more funny!!! Good times!! Sid bought this red dirt shirt and we were told to wash it alone and not wear it before because the red comes off of it. So I washed it and this is what the water looked like. Crazy!!! Thank goodness I knew to wash it alone or else everything would have come out red!!!

Day 6... evening

After our helicopter ride we went and ate at Keoki's. We then went to the beach again and then got in the hot tub. It is just so awesome to go to the beach after a great day and then go to sleep. Man I wish I lived on the beach or even near it!! Funny story... it was really hard to get the pictures of us at night in the waves. Julie was standing in about a foot of water and every time a wave would come it would knock her over, and I mean KNOCK her over onto her bum. I was worried my camera would get wet. Then after about the third wave knocking her over, Terel came over, concorned, and said "Julie... are you ok?" Like something was wrong with her. We were laughing so hard and everyone and everything ended up great!!

Day 6... helicopter ride!!

It was crazy to me that I was not allowed to go on any boat rides because I was pregnant. At least I was able to go on a helicopter ride and it was amazing!!! Kauai is so beautiful and we saw the whole island in the best way possible. I am going to try to remember what all these pictures are of but not sure if I will. I am writing them in order so I don't forget!! The helicopter pilot said that we went on a perfect day and the perfect time because there are usually clouds around the tops of some of the mountains and you don't get to see the waterfalls that we saw. It was amazing!!!!!! 1) Hule'ia Stream where Indiana Jones was filmed 2) Only way to get to this beach is by boat, all the land around it is privately owned 3) beautiful view of some mountains 4) Our hotel!! 5) random lake 6) pretty picture.. not sure of what 7) tunnel of trees 8-10) pretty pictures of the island 11-13) It is called Jurassic Falls because they filmed part of the Jurassic Park on it. 14) amazing waterfalls 15-20) pretty pictures of the island 21 & 22) Waimea Canyon 23 & 24) pretty pictures of the island 25-36) Napali Coast... amazing!!!! 37) can't remember the beach but no one ever swims there because the tides and waves are too hard 38) North shore 39-45) pretty pictures of the island 46) Wall of tears... this part of the island gets so much rain that water comes out the bottom of the mountain. It was pretty cool to see. 47 & 48) pretty pictures of the island 49) Wailua Falls 50) pretty picture of the island. It was just so amazing on the helicopter. I just took tons of pictures and can't remember what they all were!!!

Day 6...

We decided we better go see some of the cool places since our trip is almost over. We headed to Spouting Horn which was supposed to shoot water 50 feet into the air. Well... it didn't shoot too high and Brock could have cared less. So after about 5 minutes we were on the road again. We then headed to Wailua Falls. They were amazing. There was a guy there weaving baskets and he did a fish on a pole and a pinwheel for Brock. He just loved them. The waterfall was so pretty. There are so many chickens and roosters everywhere!! Brock loved them as well. The waterfall is well worth it!!
